Pixie (if I can call you that?), going for long periods without eating will really cause problems. Even now, if I don't eat regularly I get pain. When I saw GP he sent me for scan just to double check everything was OK and then said that what was happening was my body was trying to digest food that wasn't there :eek:. Over production of acids apparently!

One thing your Mum might want to be careful of is citrus fruit and tomato, cucumber etc. The only fruit I could eat was banana & I LOVE salad and fruit. I hope for your Mum's sake that they take them out sooner rather than later but be warned - they can't take them out during an attack as it's too dangerous. They have to let them subside first. If she's really suffering, some Gaviscon or something might help a little as it calms the acid down and sometimes stops the stones from churning xx

am trying to get hold of some kind of london voucher for a postpal child who's sister is going to GOS for an op this month... am thinking maybe zoo or a london eye flight thing.. hopefully i can win one then it wount cost me anything ... not coz im stinge! ... just broke LOL
