Hi
I had mine out about 9 years ago and it was brilliant! The relief was amazing. This probably sounds really daft but the only way I could get relief from mine was to stand on tip toe in the kitchen over the swan necked mixer tap and run it on cold right by my solar plexus (which is where you usually get most pain). I went in one afternoon, had op 1st thing next morn and only had to stay in overnight because the GA made me sick. I went home and cooked dinner for the kids whilst hubby took them to the park to give me a rest (he was furious when he got home :rotfl:).
Your Mum will prob need to rest up for a few days after but honestly, the op is OK. I have a scar in tummy button, one further up about 2" long and five or six tiny ones on tummy that they just steri-stripped.
Really good luck to her and even if she's suffering make her eat something or the pain will get worse - I lived on rich tea biccies for about a year:rolleyes:
Oh and congrats on becoming an auntie too.....0 -

Something else I remember my friend saying that affected her Gallstones was if she ate Pasties or sausage rolls, greasy pastry type...she would be in pain afterwards. Hope your mum gets sorted soon ppd xx
What up ikkle?Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!0 -
I'm on a DMP and pay Empire catalogue £5 a month and have just noticed the payment was due yesterday so have paid it straight away and am now worried they will either charge me or cancel my arrangement. 1st payment iv been late with since setting DMP up. Hoping they dont add any charges or interest as I can pay it off in a lump sum come October. You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

thanks for that brightness xx she does need it out now, she has suffereed with gallstones for years and follows a very lowfat diet, its only since she was doing a special needs playscheme in the summer hols that she has been sore, she was doing 5 hours a day with no lunch break so that didnt help matters
sure it will be fine ikkle, maybe phone and explain?0 -
yeah, i need to contact the other 4 creditors as it is as I need a new balance as i havent updated my spread sheet since March and I know I have paid a lot off since then.
if there is any young uns including Jake reading this dont be in a rush to get credit when you turn 18 and if your OH tells you to get a loan in your name tell em to F off lol you will only regret it in long run and end up payin through the nose to rip off money lenders like Welcome finance. You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.
