Lidl Indian & Chinese ready meals on special

Options
Hi,
I notice that Lidl have reduced their Indian & Chinese ready meals to virtually half price. Has anyone who has tried these in the past any comments to make about them. I usually buy Morrisons but their BOGOF on Indian meals has finished and these at Lidl could be an alternative. Thank you - Sally

these are made in the same factory in southall london as waitrose and m & s currys. I know cos I worked for Waitrose as a driver and went there to collect a load and the loader gave me a case of Lidl ones for free. The only difference is the price.
We are the change we wish to see.
  • If you can still get one. The Sun has a voucher for £5 off in lidl sorry I can't remember how much you have to spend. just saw it on the front page in the shop.

The Lidl voucher is in the Express this week. It's £5 off a £30 shop (think Tesco also accept them, my local does anyway!) they are valid until this Sun I believe.

    Hi
Been to Lidl and got a few of these meals. Tried the Korma but quite tasteless and watery. OH had the Balti and said it was lovely. Jalfrieze and Tikka to go. A good sized portion for £1.19 Sally

Shame as the Korma is my daughter's favourite and I would have tried it but we'll give the others a go.
  • OOOh that's why my mother has bought a few of these today!!!! We've had them several times and there is plenty of chicken in them and not bad at all for the price. Can't comment on the Korma as i haven't had it but the others are fine.

    Hi,
Also forgot to say the curry's we bought were manufactured in Monaghan, Southern Ireland and not Southall as extonjoe said. Don't suppose it makes a lot of difference. Sally

Tasty, filling, and as someone else said, exactly the same as ones twice or thrice the price.
