Help!!

:confused:Hi, I am in lots of debt (around £65K) and recently made redundant, so my income is JSA £64.30 a week. I have set up a debt management scheme with the CAB, but many of my creditors are still charging interest and default charges meaning my debt is increasing at an alarming rate... What can I do?

Can you use any of the redundancy money for reduced full and final offers for some of the debts?
I suggest you post up a SOA - there may be areas you can save in your expenditure as well as trying to get the interest stopped.

Have you written to the creditors requesting they top interest? Might be worthwhile getting in touch with CCCS or Payplan for advice on this too.
