Bank debt

I hope this is the correct forum..

I have an overdraft of about 15k ( they charge about 20% interest) that I cannot pay off, the bank have been after me for about 18 months, about six months ago they wrote to say they are selling on the debt. I have heard nothing since.

Is this common, whats going on?

yes this is common. you will be abit better off when paying as if you come to an payment agreement with them you will just be paying the debt not the interest
