Question re Fixture Ferrets

Options
Hi, I'm net to this website, but I have read in another thread about Fixture Ferrets. I have had a look, and I am not sure whether I will benefit.

I tend to have a menu plan, thus only shop for what I need and I rarely buy any ready meals. So would I waste my money on the membership? Or even is there a service that is free? :)

Thanks

I only just signed up, but I was thinking that so long as I am disciplined enough to use it, then I would save the subscription on washing powder alone really quickly. But then if you were getting lidls or ultra cheap store stuff, maybe not.
I found where Kumala wine was on offer because I had Linda mccartney tokens for 4 bottles, so got a better deal than I would have.
.What about tinned tomatoes? They are often on bogof and are a staple of lots of my meals, likewise tuna? And do you have a range of supermarkets and time to choose to go to a couple of them rather than just one?

I use a combination of fixture ferrets before you had pay and this one

Sometimes one had more than the other of it. But now you have to pay for fixture ferrets I will be sticking to the mad about bargains.

    HTH.

I didn't know you had to pay for fixture ferrets! I must admit I was thinking I haven't seen a mail from them recently but I must have missed the one asking for money!

  • Thanks for the responses.

I had read about mad about, but I looked at their site last night and couldn't see where to go, now I know!

As it's free, I can review what I need against the offers, and the best bit is that it tells you when the offer ends :D

    Thanks again

  • Hi, I find Fixture ferrets shows all the deals, bogofs and price reductions for the main supermarkets. You can search the site for offers or they send out a weekly newsletter if you request it, which is specific to groceries you are interested in. You dont have to pay to find offers under a £1. But if you want the really good deals, you have to pay £5 per year to find these. It helps me find good deals, I shop around a few of the supermarkets and it helps to reduce my shopping bill.
