No freeview that I can see Emmahip.
Spuds, I have seen them referred to before on MSE. But this is my first transaction. I checked out this site http://www.reviewcentre.com/reviews94556.html as its a big purchase, but didnt want to miss the deal as we have been looking for a Tv for about 6 months. I also have paid by credit card for futher protection.0 -

Isn't Digital Terrestrial Tuner a fancy expression for Freeview?
Sony's own product descriuption also states:
Watch digital TV with the integrated standard definition digital terrestrial tuner (digital terrestrial tuner - An integrated television tuner that receives digital terrestrial TV channels and radio broadcasts)(MPEG-2, also receives analogue)

Am so tempted but £500 is a lot still0 -
They're based in Amsterdam, you may wish to have the funny cake,or smoke the pipe, then I show you the girls!0

If they are based in Amsterdam you may have fun with warranty claims, and it may be a grey import , worth checking first before you buy0

Well the last tv we bought new was in and out of Currys workshop til the warranty expired ...we actually only had about 2 weeks viewing where it wasnt a problem. 3 weeks after the guarantee ran out it literally blew up in smoke. Currys is only half a mile from us and it was sheer hell, waiting in for engineers, time off work to be there when it was returned "repaired" etc etc. Buying locally wasnt a solution. If you get problems it is always a risk on customer service.
If its got a 2 year warranty I would have thought Sony is Sony is it not?0 -
