I haven't received a refund yet either and had no reply at all. The form was sent, special delivery and arrived before the deadline of the 12th June. I've since emailed from Oasisnet as instructed and as yet have had no reply.
Say whatever you like, the facts are they told everyone they would get a refund if they kept their tickets and let's face it, regardless of your own experience of the gig, they can afford it more than we can so they should cough up.0 -
I don't understand why you have said they are moving the goal posts? What have they changed?
What they have done is given people who received incorrect cheques the opportunity to get that sorted out.
They have also made it clear that if you did not get a refund, but did get a response, that there must have been something wrong with your initial application.
The terms and conditions set out on the application for the refund is :
Terms and conditions:
- This amount is a discretionary goodwill offer being made by Oasis and their promoters, SJM Concerts and Metropolis Music ("the Promoters") to any genuinely disappointed concert attendees only. Neither Oasis nor their promoters, admit any liability and ticket holders are referred to the terms and conditions of purchase as set out at their point of ticket purchase and on the reverse of their tickets.
- IMPORTANT: NO TICKET, NO REFUND. A genuine, original ticket for Oasis' Heaton Park concert on June 4th must be sent for each ticket refund requested (eg: if you are requesting refund of two tickets you MUST send both tickets). This offer is only made to those who attended the concert so each ticket will be scanned on receipt and only those verified at having been in attendance will be refunded.
- No payments will be made unless this form is fully and correctly completed and signed.
- No claims will be accepted or processed if received after Friday 12 June last post.
- In the event of a dispute the decision of the Promoters will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- The Promoters will only use your personal information in connection with processing your refund
However, the terms and conditions they have now added are :
Ticket holders are reminded of the following:
- Ticket purchases for the concert were restricted to a maximum of 6 per person. Single applications for more than the 6 ticket maximum are therefore ineligible.
- Only tickets purchased directly from authorised ticket agencies are eligible. If you bought a ticket on eBay, from a tout or other secondary source you cannot claim.
I am the latter - but it did not state this in the original T&C therefore is totally wrong.
I have heard that somepeople have been refused because they sent 5 back, but they have later said it is now 6 as there were many complaints that if bought through ticketmaster etc you couls buy up to 6 - but none of this was mentioned again in the T&C
Like i said - i cop out, they said one thing, saw a get-out, added to the T&C and refused.:mad:0 -

Doesn't that term answer your problem?
If you bought a ticket from Ebay, a tout, etc, it is not exactly you that purchased the ticket and you cannot claim a refund.
It is limited to 6 because if you bought from an approved seller, that was the maximum you could buy.
I bought 4 tickets, and was refunded 4. I bought them direct from Oasis, seetickets I think it was.
In your opinion you seem to think that anybody with a ticket stub should be entitled to a refund? That would be great for all the litter pickers at the concert!!

But as i said, that was NOT in the original T&C and was added AFTER the refusal - hence moved the goal posts??!!0 -
It also states this offer is made to those who attended the concert, well i did, and paid for the tickets that i bought to get in.0

Got a refund for my tickets. Despite several discrepancies.
Thought about keeping cheque for souvinier reason, for 2 seconds and am now oasis's biggest fan!0 -

^ Is from the original terms and conditions?

I think the reason they released the extra wording was to further explain what a genuine, original ticket was.
As I said before if you bought the ticket from an other source, it is not actually your ticket, it is the person that bought the ticket from the genuine suppliers in the first place.
If they didn't have this restriction, how could they prove that you are entitled to the refund?
Anybody could have picked a ticket stub up off the floor at the gig and sent that back for a refund if they did not have those terms.

In the t&c's it stated that the tickets would be scanned to see if they had actually been used to attend the gig.
When they were scanned, it could probably bring up the details of the person that bought the ticket and if they did not match the details of the person making the refund claim, how could they offer a refund?
On my claim, I knew my father had purchased the tickets using his credit card, but I was making the refund claim, so I just wrote that on the form. However, we do both have the same surname at least.0 -

But had they of advised this in the terms and conditions that refunds would of only been offered to the purchaser, then people like myself would of saved on postage and kept the ticket as a souvenir, but it didnt, therefore.
At the end of the day i returned two tickets, how did they know that i was not with the person whom was the purchaser?
Only by asking by where i purchased the tickets from - had they of asked for their name, i could of given it to them, as i have those details and their address, but even-so, i simply do not see what difference it makes where you bought the tickets from - the originally came from their ticket office, therefore, they received x amount for x amount of tickets, regardless what i paid, my ticket was scanned because they were used by me and my partner on the day, and i was generally disappointed, and they stated i quote ' EVERYONE will now get a refund, this is now a free gig!!!'
I have spoken with TS & they too have advised that it does not matter where the tickets were bought from, it should not play a part in their acceptance or refusal for a refund, especially when they made a verbal agreement with everyone, and has been so widely publicised!!!0 -
^ They also said they wanted everyone to buy a t shirt on the way out... Did you keep your receipt for your t shirt so that you can claim your refund? :rotfl:0
