annoys me that a lot of people think that we want to be in debt & have just wasted the money.
Ok some people have & I have to an extent. about this time last year I thought I was about to get settled, due to move, cards & loans pretty much sorted (extra on mortgage); then my sis got sick & i was driving 200 miles (one way) each weekend (400 in total) & trying to run a house. I must have put over a grand on the cards with the travelling & food on the run & parking. But I could not have sat here while she was in hosp. I did that drive each weekend for almost 6 months. Then, trying to get sorted again, I lost my job, managed to temp for 6 weeks, then there was nothing, I had no work for 3 weeks, and just to make it worse, on those 3 weeks, my boiler packed up & a nw boiler ended up on the card.

"Particularly nauseating is Carol Vorderman. She rose to fame for being clever at arithmetic on publicly-funded Channel 4. Her name and face appear on numerous maths books aimed at children. Then, as if she needed the money, she fronts one of the dreadful daytime adverts encouraging people to borrow even more, exploiting the association built up by TV and marketing between her and maths. This woman clearly puts her personal greed way ahead of any sense of responsibility.
