How about blending fruit with low fat yoghurt and making your own fruit sorbet?

If you make your own ice cream and sorbets you will save a fortune and it will be better for you and the baby.

Ice cream is basically custard frozen - just add flavourings(fruit etc) and freeze = when it's slushy - give it a good stir and then back in the freezer - do this a couple of times and then you have ice cream - There are probably easier ways - like with a proper ice cream maker, but that's how I do it - lol

It can work out easier/cheaper to do a food planner for the week/month. I've got a trolley now - do a search on Rolser - you'll find a huge thread on them. So I can so the butchers and greengrocers now - works out a lot cheaper than supermarket - have a look if you have any markets nearby.

Make up batches of things like pasta sauce and freeze it inportions - buying in bulk - meat/veggies is cheaper then.

If you have a look at the recipes thread on here there are several recipes for ice cream.

Or just use the search facilty button.

When I make lasagne - I cover the tray with foil before putting it in the oven and then remove foil for the last 20 mins or so.

I think the problem with your lasagne is that you don't have enough liquid in the sauce - it is the liquid that cooks the lasagne sheets, so you need to make it a bit more sloppy than you would if you were having spag bol for example.

Bit of variety helps always though

Home made chunky burgers with a bit of salad & pot wedges or jacket?
Leftover chicken & veg pie in white sauce with mini roasties?
    Stirfry?
Grilled pork steaks, rice, pepper sauce, veg ( mange tout, sugar snaps? Mini babycorns?
Grilled fish with a quick veg stir fry?
    Homemade pizza & jackets?

Dont think you can have the meranguey bit but the strawberry-baked alaska on the waitrose webiste even has me eating fruit ( im a veg person) or a nice crumble?

Whatever you have frozen, you can make from fresh, witohut much trouble Im starting to think. If a massive machine can make it- so can I!!
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast
