    Without all the info -
Clear the Next, do you know the exact amount.?
CUT UP THE CARD, you don't need to close the account. Of course they will send you a new card when the old one expires. You can decide then if you cut up the new card.

    The rest to M&S

    Good Luck

The Next isnt a storecard its the Next Directory online account thingy - I wonder if its possible to get them to give me an upto date figure and then i could overpay - its just that they dont send statements out until 19th of the month and i dont want the money sitting lying around because i would get spent in my moment of madness

THEN....with some of the extra cash left over.....pay off some of the M&S and leave yourself some in your current account so u dont have to use your credit card at the end of the month.

See how it all starts coming together once you start?! :)

With reference to your well deserved new wardrobe.....try the charity shops....if you are lucky you can get good stuff....I've found loads of Next & Jane Norman stuff on my travels.

Before you go cutting up cards, you can sometimes get 0% and LOB offers as an existing customer. This usually also means that a credit check is not required. If you are able to clear a card and possibly transfer with a BT offer, you may be able to move when one of the 0% cards runs out or possibly move some of the higher APR debt.

You don't always need to open a new account for a BT offer.
