Hi i received a call from their manager yesterday who informed me that my refund was being made yesterday? so i guess i'll just have to wait, can i ask the other company that you found?0

I am currently in the process of getting a loan from AK Solutions, I have received my paperwork and I’m just waiting for my guarantors documents so I can send it all off. I have had no problems getting through on their customer service number 08455 190 547 I have occasionally been left in a queue but isn’t this to be expected if their advisors are busy? I did see the blog posted by MULEFA and questioned one of the advisors about why there is queue and she did advise that you are unlikely to get through on a direct line when other customers are calling in on the correct line and in a queue.
When i was unsure if i could get a guarantor they did advise me if i didn’t i might be able to get a loan without one for a smaller amount. They also advised if i didn’t i would get a refund minus the £5 brokerage fee. Have you received your refund yet darrengillen? I am aware that legally they can take up to 6 months to reimburse customers.0 -
They are also known as Money Essentials. They are very dodgy so be careful. I applied for a loan this week and details were passed to them. They called me saying that they had guaranteed me a loan for £2000 by their in-house lenders blah blah blah, that the fee was £54. After I questioned them, they contradicted themselves. I asked if this was def in-house lending as this is not mentioned on the website and previously they had asked me whether I had a problem with my details being passed to a third party. Secondly, I asked her is this loan def and she replied, yes it's already been concluded by their in-house lenders, the money would be in my account within 24hrs of them receiving the signed papers and that I will have to pay £54, papers will be sent out to sign and between payment and dispatch of papers, they would conduct a CREDIT CHECK. (HELLOOOOO....DO YOU HEAR THE ALARM BELLS RINGING). You guarantee me an in-house loan, then want payment, then do a CREDIT CHECK? My advice is to stay well clear.
My debts are £3-4 grand and after that crap, i'm going to consolidate......can't go wrong there. Prefer to be short of money every month knowing bills are decreasing then to pay out £54 and get nothing in return.......I will stay clear of any loan company that asks for a fee and guarantees you a loan, as it has not been guaranteed as the fee is for them to search for a lender. Some of them do not tell you that they have something like 6 months to find you a loan, so kiss your fee "GOODBYE"0 -
I made an enquiry, mainly out of curiousity so I could consolidate a couple of small debts, it came up with company, I entered fake phone numbers so I would be contacted constantly and thought I would do some reserach before I contacted them myself. I wont use a company that charges a fee, I have the 'guarentees' before and its waste of time, AK Solutions doesnt even have a website! Says it all to me!0

I applied on line for a loan and money essentials rang me back offering me a £1000 loan.. went through a few more details and then aske for my bank card..... when she asked for the long number i asked her if this is because their was a upfront fee, she said there is a fee but it isnt taken out of the account until a week later and by this time your loan as cleared in the bank! We went through payment options and she said i would recieve documents in the post in the next few days, to send sign and send back and money would be in my account within 24 hours..... 2 days later i went to my bank and £70 had been taken out of it.. i went to the bank and they said they can recall it or cancel it as it was still classed as clearing! I have tried to ring them on the number the woman gave me but the office closed at 1.30pm.. the other number for new loans was just an automated sevices.. I am very mad as the money that they took has left me short now and have had to borrow it form family.0

Candy from a Baby.
Out of interest, why has having £70 taken from your account left you short?
You did realise loans have to be paid back along with a load of interest right?? What were you going to use to repay the loan if you are already skint?0 -
oh dear ,,,so many people queuing up ready to have their pockets picked...What is wrong with you people? is this country full of lunatics who think if they have a bad credit history they can get a loan from somewhere else just by paying £49 for the pleasure..jesus you people make me so angry as the money you are being scammed out of is a lot of money to you.. these people must be scamming millions of pounds..It is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.0 -
