If that works out too expensive then purchase a plain double duvet cover, and a single thomas the tank and then work your sewing magic. It would be Thomas the Tank, but one of it's kind !

I'm always amazed that kids characters aren't sold in double sizes. But I've never found a double one yet. My suggestion would be to buy a single cover and make 2 double covers out of it as follows.
1. Separate the single cover into 2 pieces, top and bottom.
2. Take one of the pieces. In addition to this piece you will need a piece of co-ordinating fabric 210cm wide (buy bedding fabric) and 260cm long.
3. Sew the long sides of the Thomas piece to the shorter edges of the other piece, to make a tube.
4. Turn the tube inside out, and find the centre of the back of theThomas piece. Spread the tube on the floor so the centre of Thomas is in the middle - that is, so the tube is flattened out with equal margins either side of Thomas.
5. Tack and sew up the top, add fastenings to the bottom - viola! A double duvet cover! (With seams on the top side only, so they won't chafe whoever is sleeping in the bed.....)
6. Do the same with the other piece, make another double duvet cover, and sell it on Ebay to recoup your costs. :rotfl:
Of course, you can start with Thomas fabric instead of a duvet cover - in this case I would have a plain border all the way round (slightly more advanced sewing skills - and still have a plain back to the cover so there are no seams facing the sleeper).Ex board guide.
