disco, mobile DJ, teenage party Essex area?

can anyone point me in the direction of a disco/dj suitable for a teenagers party (14yrs old) in the Essex area.
I have had one quote for £190 for 2.5hrs on a Friday evening. Seemed rather steep to me.
Any recommendations or advice welcome.

from my experience thats probably a little bit to high. I do this kind of work and i would have thought that for around 2.5 hours you'd be looking more between 100-150.

£190 seams very high - although the best thing you can do is call around a couple of others. Maybe discuss having less light's? that could bring the cost down.

also it is a Friday evening so they may be 'losing' other longer gigs hence why its so much as they have a minimum call out charge.
