Thanks aimee21, this is the dress that started the problem! She saw it in a bridal shop, in that oyster colour and fell in love with it but she's a curvy girl and felt it was just a little too revealing for her wedding dress:rolleyes:

Hels, this one is lovely too but like the one above, it's a bit too low cut for her figure!

I think you're right guys, there's a few niggles still about the original post.
Milly have said that they can make a packham style dress for her, I'm just having problems trying to explain a request for samples of the different fabrics rather than colour samples
I'll go away and talk to her, it's her decision at the end of the day - if and when she ever makes one!:rolleyes:

Simple, ask them. Do they have a 100% silk 30mm crepe satin? Synthetc satin isn't as fluid as silk.
