Hi there,
Well, been discharged for 3 months now, and going through my file cleaning it up.
I opted for a new savings account with IF, but my question is if i owed money to say Halifax before bankruptcy, would they try take my money if they were linked?
Regards

If they try it, they would be breaking the law so you would have come back.BSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0

Cheers. What would i do if they did. The rate on the IF account is good, so i would like to use it to put something away, but while im sure they wouldnt, you never know!0

Has anyone been given a ISA after discharge? my OH was offered one by the co-op, he explained we had only just got discharge and they said they would put it in anyway and he should hear by post. Just wondered if anyone had had any luck?0

Yep! there are a couple who have Co-op ISA's., They will even give you an ISA while undischarged, but won't give you a savings account
NP if the bank do that and won 't give yuo your money back then you would have to go to the Financial Ombudsman I think.BSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0 -
I have an ISA and a savings account, but i was lucky as i was able to stick with the same bank during the process and opened them up while bankrupt, so i could save up for car maintenance etc0
