Hi, please can someone help with a default question i have?
I defaulted with HSBC bank in 04 and have been dealing with Metropolitan Collections ever since. Now, I know that a default is removed from your credit file after 6 years even if there is still money outstanding but if I have been paying a reduced monthly payment since 04 and the default automatically falls off will HSBC/MC put it back on because there will still be money owing?

No once the HSBC entry comes off it will stay off. However it may show on your credit file that you are making monthy payments to a company called Metropolitan.0
