Problems with Natwest

Some general info to set the scene: Graduated from uni in 2005 and got a graduate account from them with a 2k interest free overdraft. Everything was being managed reasonably well and within the limit, after a certain time they removed the interest free part (i am now led to believe that there should have been the chance to repay the 2k interest free, but i was never told about that). Anyway, things were still managed ok until I endured a 6 month period of unemployment, during which time my account was hit with loads of charges and that obviously increased the interest on it. Despite repeatedly contacting NatWest, they kept hassling me about the overdraft and they then cancelled it and started demanding the full amount despite knowing my circumstances. Once I was back in employment, I contacted them to try and make an offer. They said that was not possible and basically pressured me into taking out a loan with them to cover the full amount that was outstanding - over £1,000 extra had been added to my 2k overdraft in charges and interest during my unemployed period. They said the account has to stay open to run this loan from and I transfer the amount across each month. They have however removed my access to online and telephone banking. When I logged into Creditexpert, my report for my Natwest is showing it being 4 months in arrears and I have absolutely no idea why. I have tried writing to them before, but they didn't respond. Does anyone have any idea on how the hell I can get to the bottom of this? This is not the only issue I am having difficulty getting a response from Natwest on. Any advice would be much appreciated.
