Used to use these a lot in soups and stews as they're all vegetarian and make a good stock cube. Think they're tasty because they include MSG so I stopped using them and make my own stock now.

    But what about now?
  • Hi OP.

I remember these soups from years ago-they were great for 10 cals when trying to diet! Hope you do find a new supplier, because I would buy them too if I saw them (no Morrisons near here).

However, a possible alternative could be Poundland's packs of Bovril drinks. There is 8 in a pack and they are around 7 cals. Not such a bargain as 42p for 10, but it might see you through for now?

They were fab, such a shame they have gone now! Made the perfect lunch

Hope a vegetarian alternative crops up :)

    I've been Money Tipped!
They have tomato ones in B & M stores, boxes of 6 for 20p, best before end of May 2011, hence the low price.

    ;)

I did ask in Morrisons but the chap I asked didn't have a clue what I was on about.:(

I LOVED them too I used to have them at work as a wee hot drink and it takes the taste away to wanna snack on something sweet the way you do with tea and coffee in the afternoon at work...... I WISH i could find these again I loved the chicken ones and they were veggie too so no nasties in them..... I am also on the hunt with little success also :(:(:(
