exemption forms ???? Do u need to fill them out before u go, we are on ESA (income based) so we dont need to pay the £150 but i thought you just took the award letter ?? Do u have a link to the forms please ?

You'll be fine, Went with hubbie last week, made the poor thing carry all his paperwork just in case they wanted to see anything - it was very heavy. And all he needed was cash to pay fees & the forms !!
Take a book as there is a bit of hanging about, but dont worry the staff at our court were friendlier & kinder than I'd ever had hoped for, and although the judge was serious, he wasnt nasty, condisending, or any of the horrors you might expect.

I nearly fainted with the lack of pressure and grilling!
So clinical and non intrusive! then again when I got talking to her last December the clerk told me they had gone from 3 a day to 9! I dont think they have time to go to town on you!
You dont even see the judge and the clerk fills the first forms, the one that was written in 1845, or reads as it was!
The only painful bit is handing over £500!! Well £1000 for me and my wife!
