Has anyone received there copy from the Mirror yet?

How long should we wait , till its reported?

I emailed on 23rd July and got this reply back:

So sorry that your prize is taking so long to arrive - I have been told to expect a delivery by early next week.

Are all those question marks necessary?

Did you (the op) try contacting The Mirror to chase up your prize? They don't generally take care of prize distribution themeselves, that is usually left to the company who makes the item, in this case Activision (I think), but they will chase it up if you (as purplebutterly did) contact them.

For the record, I won a Guitar Hero game and guitar last year (through videogamer.com), and it took the developer nearly six months to send the prize out...so looks like they are a company that drags its heals a little.

I put the question marks, so people on here knew I wasnt reporting a win, but asking a question. I did email them a couple of weeks ago and got a similar response. I thought it was ok to ask on here instead of emailing the promoter again.

We've all contacted them numerous times, I believe Mel was just finding out the latest info as there are 4 of us on here still waiting and it helps to share the info.

And I'm not sure why the amount of question marks upsets you so much?

Thanks Mel for bringing it up again hun, I did post my email reply on the old thread last week but it fairly quickly dropped off the page.

It isn't a copy of Guitar Hero greatest hits you are waiting on by any chance?

I won a copy of that game through a competition on dcemu.com ages ago but I still havent received my copy yet! I have been in constant (not hassling type though!!) contact with the guy that runs the website and he has been in constant contact with Activision who are supplying the prizes, and apparently Activision say they have been having lots of problems in their warehouse - so maybe that is affecting all of the guitar hero prizes they are sending out for all competitions?

Don't know if this helps any, or if I'm just insanely babbling on - its all this moving house and packing boxes lark!

Hope you get yours soon though....lol, hope I get mine soon as well!! :rotfl:

I just checked and I got my WEM for my guitar hero on June 5th!! :eek:

I'm moving next week, so hopefully its being sent Royal Mail rather than courier so it can follow me in the redirected post!!
