Best Vouchers To Buy?

Giving £200 worth of vouchers to a friend as a present but the question is does anyone know if any of the shops give discounts on their vouchers or which shops would I better getting them from in regards to reward points schemes?

I'm thinking of either House Of Fraser, Tescos, Boots, Debenhams.

Anyone else has some ideas?

It's for a wedding by the way

Thanks.

One Christmas the company I work for gave us some gift vouchers which could be used in many stores. I don't remember what they were exactly, but have a look at this site http://www.love2reward.co.uk/consumer/index.htm it looks very similar to what we had.

  • Hi,

i don't think you can get discount, otherwose when we knew we were going on a shopping trip, we'd all buy our vouchers in advance!

I also think that there is something in the T&C of reward cards that says they're not valid against purchase of vouchers. - Having said that I think I might look into that, I could potentially see a nice money saving scheme :D

Failing that, there's alway ebay, although I am always reluctant as to the origin or whether thay are fake etc.

Do Boots give points on gift vouchers? If you bought them when they were doing a tripple points day you would get something back.

Will have to check on the terms and conditions on my clubcard but thanks guys.

Just found this on the Tesco web site,

Do I get Clubcard points when I buy a Gift card?

Points awarded as normal when the card is used to buy items (when used with a Clubcard), but are not awarded on the purchase of a Gift card.

Bonusbond have gone out of business unfortunatley.
I have been looking into this as I have been giving more vouchers for birthdays this year, unfortuantely I cannot find that any of the high street shops will give rewards or discounts on buying vouchers or let you buy vouchers using loyalty points.

Are bonusbond vouchers like Capital Bond vouchers?

I once had a bonus of £100 Capital Bond vouchers from work. They can be used with a lot of retailers.
