Yes, technically as an Aussie the UK is overseas for me.
Getting married in Bottesford, North Lincolnshire in February next year, as long as the UK Home Office signs my fiance Visa.
Heading back to Australia this Sunday and am devastated, going to miss my fiance Jason and we'll be seperated for about 4 months...ugh...tears again! lol So much for Little Miss Tough Girl lol.

I am getting married in the US, in my home town though.

    I'm also May 2010.

    MrsDay2BE, good luck, I know it's a horrible and expensive (!!) process.

Ooooh, a few of us then! So what made you choose abroad? How many are going?

Not long for you Kaz :j - are you nervous? Stressed? Excited?

We went to Santorini on hols this year, and I was so much of all the above (first time taking both girls abroad) that I can't imagine how I'll be next year!!

Really hope all goes well with your visa MrsDay2be *crosses fingers* it must be SO hard to leave Jason for that long :( hope it flies by. My bridesmaid got married in Lincs, near her home town, in Dec 07, and I'm sure I've heard of Bottesford. Is it near somewhere called Scotter?

NCV - so do you live here now, and getting married back home?

Havent got time for any of those - only set the date 5 weeks ago but have sorted registrar, venue, dresses for me and DD, suit shoes sirt and tie for [STRIKE]OH[/STRIKE] H2B :rotfl:. Need to sort flowers cake and outfit for DS and he wont be easy as he's a tall skinny thing but I'm not going to stress, if he has to wear jeans and a T I'll just be happy to have him there.

dress is this one in ivory - very MSE less than £40 (although I did order a second dress which I originally liked more and wanted to wear but this is more weddingy but together less than £120) will wear with gold sandals and DD has an ivory dress from Monsoon with a couple of silver butterflies on it

Sorry tried to resiz pic but cant so adding a link instead http://www.sexyher.co.uk/product-ED6006-85.html this was the original one I wanted http://www.sexyher.co.uk/product-ED6009-42.html

Flowers I would like something like this - oops cant get picture to work this time nw found a iin to it http://www.myweddingflowerideas.co.uk/wedding-bouquet/white-orchid-wedding-flowers-flflorist-e.jpg and cake well I'm leaving them (thats the venue) to arrange it

We have chosen Sorrento because we both love Italy, the food, the people, way of life etc and we went there on holiday this year. Neither of us wanted a big fuss so this seemed a perfect way for us to get married somewhere we would feel relaxed & with (hopefully) no hassle.
So far there are 8 of us going but I have quite a few friends that are looking to book last minute.
We are having an Italian themed party when we get back to the UK which I am in the process of organising :D
