If I get to the point where I can't get motivated & I'm not enjoying it I tend to take a break for a few weeks & enjoy it a lot more when I start up again.

Seeing other people win always motivates me too
Thanks to everyone that posts :T:money:

I love seeing all the wins other people have, some are fantastic. It makes me smile:grin: when there really isn't much to smile about these days. I know my day will come and I have a lot of patience.

Same here, I always take a look at what others win and think all they did was fill in exactly the same form or email as me, so next time it could easily be me.
Thanks to all who post comps!

I think that if you are not feeling very motivated then it is time to take a break or scale down the amount of comps you are entering. It should be fun and never a chore :)
I'm sure you'll soon get back into it after a week or two ;)
Thanks to everyone who posts comps, I love winning prizes big and small

Take a break for a few hours, go shopping, have a cuppa, walk the dog , just do something and then come back. Thats what I do

I think if you have a friend that does it too like i have then we keep asking each other if they had winning post/ emails etc... keeps me excited who will win next.

This is so true, we start our day at work with a cup of tea and a "Did you have any winning post?" And if one of us is sat with a big smile on our face our automatic response is "Ok, what ya won, ya jammy beggar!!"

Even Jessoir's mum rings us as soon as she gets a win. Its great being able to share each others win and everyone elses on MSE. We love to read through the list of winners and see what everyone is getting in their post.
:jYou've got to be in it to win it!! Just believe to receive!! :j

Last year I had to take a couple of breaks as I was going through long periods of not winning anything, and although I KNOW that we shouldnt expect to win anything but I think its fair to say that when you have entered pretty much every competition in a month you do kinda expect to win SOMETHING!! :)

I did finish the year with a Real Deal win so the break must have done me some good!! This year has been a lot easier, I havent won any "big" prizes but I have been continuosly winning 8-10 "little" prizes a month so that in itself keeps me motivated!

I would say if you are getting disheartened just stop for at least a week, or however long you feel you need, and come back to it fresh!! It's supposed to be fun so don't let it get to the point where it becomes a chore!!

Something I've had to do for the last couple of weeks because I am moving, is just entering the ITV cash comps and the magazine ones as well - they dont take more than 10-15 minutes at most and it still makes me feel as if I'm not missing out completely!! It might be worth doing that if you do decide to take a break just to keep you in with a (slim) chance of winning something!!

Good luck and hopefully the comping gods will send something your way!! :)
