Does any guy or gall out there know where I can buy a Palm or Sony PDA cheaper than in the shops?
Even refurb'd with guarantee will be ok as I only want it mainly to store and read ebooks

Hi
Amazon have the Tungsten T3 for £215 inc vat and del!!! (brand new)
I got one from ebay recently with a case and palm keyboard for £160 used, I re-sold the keyboard for £35 so got it for £125 del!!(you do take a bit of a risk though). The thing I like about the T3 is the extending screen which makes it excellent for reading ebooks etc, also has the facility to view in landscape mode as well as portrait.
Hope this has helped
happy new year

There's a company in Ireland that often sells refurbed Palms on eBay, but you can buy direct from them and pay by CCard if you don't fancy the auction gamble.
Website is:

No personal experience of them, but often see their name mentioned (favourably) in usenet groups about palms.

Not sure if its too late, but my local comet was selling off a sony tj25 for £60. I'm in the market for a palm myself, but would prefer one with a SD slot. (also it got bad reviews). Let me know if you'd like more details?0
