There was a delay because i opened a step account with Natwest, they sent card ,account no, but when i tried to go online they said i had to ring local branch.Who then said i couldnt have a account has i had owed money to Natwest years ago even though the debt had been paid, they said you cant bank with them again. We currently bank with the Halifax but the od will have to go on IVA, so need another bank can anyone recoend one not accocitated with Halifax,Abbey,Yorkshire bank.I have sent my token offer letters to my creditors payplan said £5.00 to each but i sent £20.00 to show willing.Does anyone know of any IVAs that have been rejected and what happens then.Dont want to go bankrupt has i have a house no equity in it at moment as it has a seccured loan on it. Sorry this is so long.so many worries.

I have heard the Co-op can be quite amenable. Or you could try LloydsTSB?
If you have specific IVA queries then go to the Bankruptcy forum and you will find the IVA sub board there. You get IVA experts as well as normal mortals on there who will be able to help. And don't worry - at least you are taking steps to deal with your debt, and I doubt your creditors would push for bankruptcy at the moment because you have no equity in your home for them to take! One life - your life - live it!0 -

If you have a house with no equity, bankruptcy may be an option if your secured debt payments are at about the level you would pay for rent locally for the same house.
Do go over to the BR forum and have a chat with them.If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0 -
The Co-Operative Cashmind Account would be ideal as they are designed for those that just need a basic paying in and out account. You get a visa electron card too: www.co-operativebank.co.uk/.../Bank-CurrentAccounts
all the best with your IVA0
