Mobile phones at Tesco with 1000 extra points (cheapest phone is <£40)

Apologies if this is already here, I have done a quick search.

I was browsing tesco for a new phone (as mine has given up the ghost) and I like their current deals of topping up £15 and them upping it to £40

They appear to have 1000 extra points on selected phones, and under that section their cheapest phone is £39.97 (Sony Ericsson T303) so if I'm correct, that makes the phone free if you use deals at 4x?

Good find, not free though, it costs £39.97. You do get 1039 points thrown in however which are handy to have.

Mrs Fraggle thats right in fact you are actually up as it would be worth £41.54 in days out rewards.

I posted this when it went on a few days ago- but they've added more phones since then so it may well be worth checking back. I know the SE DD want's is now included- wrong network sadly though!

Probably a daft question (surely it can't be that good a deal) but...

Online, the Tescos website is stating double clubcard points if purchased through their Tesco Direct.

So.... does that mean for a £49 phone you'd get...

£49 clubcard points + 1000 bonus points = 1049 then double it = 2098

If this is the case then that'll work out at over £80 of meal vouchers.

I must be wrong.

You only get the clubcard points doubled not the bonus ones x

I ordered the sony T303....forgot quidco though.

the receipt quoted me as getting 1083 points...then I'll probably get the tesco finance points @ 1 per £4 on top.

not bad this as dd has been on at me for a new phone and it is her birthday on Sat

I din't realise that you can pay using the Clubcard Plus, so tried anyway . . . and was accepted . . so should receive 39CC + 39Double CC offer + 1000 offer + 39 Clubcard Plus !!! and Quidco on top . . . and free collection . . . many thanks !
