Did search but couldn't see anything.
While messing about on another site today, found a link to this story, about Quantas offering 150 return tickets to Australia for £10.
You need to have a valid Working Holiday Visa.

Some detail from the story:

"The limited tickets will be available from STA Travel outlets across the UK on August 5 on a first-come, first-served basis.
The fare is available for departures between August 15 and September 30 and November 1 to 30.
Would-be travellers are being encouraged to camp out for the tax-inclusive tickets, which are expected to be snapped up within hours.

STA isn't just for students, although they do offer special fares directed at students.

Anyone can book with them! I know because I used to work for STA...they always got cheap offers in which were available to anyone, regardless of age or whether or not they were students...

They also can organise the working holiday visa for Oz which makes it simple.

that quantas deal sounds great - well spotted!

"The move to boost the tourism industry will see 150 Qantas tickets to Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Brisbane or Adelaide available for anyone with a valid Working Holiday Visa."

This is a brilliant offer!! As OP points out though it is only open to those with working holiday visas. See http://www.immi.gov.au/visitors/working-holiday/417/ for more details.

I can imagine there will be carnage @ STA on the 5th August

There are a total of 150 tickets available. You need to have an Australian working visa (which they will sell you for £150) to be eligible (IIRC you have to be under 30 to qualify for a working visa).

Wish I could get one - would be perfect for my honeymoon next year - but I've already had one working visa so can't get another (not that I want one for 4 weeks honeymoon anyway!) :(

Oooopppies ok so I got it slightly wrong it's 18-30's so that's ok, but it's only 1 way for £10 and you must stay for the full 12 months or a fee will b applied. All are stated in the t&c of the deal. Plus it's atleast £150 for the required visa.

You're right, it is only for one way, my mistake,I will change the heading.

However, although the WHV is valid for 12 months there is no obligation for you to stay that long, you can come back whenever you wish (I can't see any Ts&Cs on the STA Website page giving info on how to be a £10 pom http://www.statravel.co.uk/cps/rde/xchg/uk_division_web_live/hs.xsl/promo6.htm or about having to stay for the full 12 months.), although you will have to pay for your return ticket.

I saw at least half a dozen people queuing outside STA Travel in Manchester today for the £10 tickets and they don't go on sale until Weds..! But suppose it's worth it at that price.
