100% Cotton Bedding

I'm after some bedding, I have a king size bed.

I can only sleep in pure 100% cotton as polyester makes me eczema flare up.

Does anyone know where is the cheapest place to get some? I am happy to have plain bedding, though I am partial to pink/white country type, flowery bedding! :)

My current set is from Dunhelm Mill but by the time I got the quilt cover, mattress cover and pillow cases I hit £100!

I got some 100% cotton sheets and pillow cases from Primark a couple of months ago. They're fine and wash okay, can't remember the exact price but they were less than half the price of my M&S ones, with a higher thread count as well.

They tend to crinkle more than the M&S ones and never look completely crease free no matter how I dry them (line or dryer). That's the only downside I've found.
Are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

i've got 100% cotton sheets from BHS and i think M&S do them too.

What about Northern Nights on QVC - when it's on offer ir can come in cheaper - and they tend to sell sets of bedding that contain everything you need.....

  • They had some nice looking ones in M&S...

Will set you back around £40 including postage. I had this duvet set delivered today together with some other items, it looks a bit creased in the package but should satisfy your pink country flowery requirements.

I have to have 100% cotton for the same reasons. Most of my bedding has been bought in TKMaxx. It's hit and miss but I've got some lovely stuff over the years...really good quality brands in many cases and usually pay around £25 for a duvet set (kingsize) and £10 or less for fitted sheets.

Slinky, that is perfect THANK YOU!

I went into town yesterday and visited M&S, BHS, Primark and Debenhams and none had 100% cotton bedding that wasn't white.

With 3 cats, I cannot really have white bedding it's wouldn't last a single second! :)
  • Glad to be of help. If there one thing I enjoy more than spending my money, it is helping someone else spend their`s (lol that comment will probably get me banned from this site as not a very ms way to think.....but all done in the best bargain-hunting way possible)
