This is my first post so hope I've done it right!
Don't know if you can knit, but even if you can only do the most basic of stitches there's a pattern on the Guardian's website which is really great.
As a newbie I'm not allowed to post links, but if you Google "Tanamana bag" you should find it okay.
I've made a few of these for myself and my friends and they've proved a real hit.
