Can anyone find me a pattern for a baby blanket?

Hi - I have just found out I'm going to be a granny again and went to hunt out my old faithful knitting pattern for a babys blanket and cant find the thing anywhere. My mum made it for me and I made it for my 3 kids and 1 grandchild.

Its knitted in squares and sewn up - each square has a part of a leaf and when they are sewn up its really nice.

Its a bit like this one here - http://www.vintagepurls.net.nz/Downloads/StitchJan1951PramCover.pdf

but its just the leaf bit

Anyone any ideas where i might get a copy on the net?

cheers

Linda

Hi Linda, I just tried to find it on Ravelry, but the only pattern that came up is the one you linked to. Are you on Ravelry? They have a forum you can post your sort of request on . If you aren't, give me a few more details and I could post for you, see if anyone recognises it. Worth a try.

Can you post the name of it, wool company or any other details to help us find it? I am on a mission now!

I think I still have this one here, sorry pics not good but you get the idea. 100_0442.jpg
I can't check at the mo as everyone's asleep.
As far as I'm aware copyright says I can lend you the pattern but I must not copy it and pass on. So if I can find it and it's what you need I could post to you, if you'll be so kind as to post it back when finished(No hurry) I'll not have grandchildren for a long time yet:rolleyes:

OOoooo I love this forum! Soblivion thats very much like the exact pattern - my mum hand copied it from a pattern in the 50's - if you let me know your address and I will send some stamps. I think that she must just have done plain garter stitch as the sides werent as fancy as that - thats maybe why she hand copied the pattern

Thank to everyone for the links - I'm on Ravelry and had to scroll through 48 pages to find the pattern I did!

    cheers
