Question about computer PSU's

Im building a pc and ive got a few cases im thinking about buying but they dont come a psu so my question is are all psu's a standard size eg 1 size fits all, heres the cases i found so far

case 3

would a 500w psu be ok and also look for brands like OCZ, corsiar etc

    A Micro ATX PSU will physically fit in any of these cases. A 500W PSU may be enough, maybe not. You need to decide exactly how the PC will be used and any peripherals that require power. Drives, expansion cards, USB powered devices, fans etc. Add them all up to get the final power requirements. I agree 500W should be more than sufficient, but check power requirements anyway to be certain.

    ok well theres 1 hard drive, 1 dvd drive, possibly 2 fans, no usb devices except maybe things like usb pen drives

    Ok ive got another question, should i buy a case with no psu and buy a psu from say ebuyer or buy a case with a psu, obviously if i buy the 2 separately then im likely to get a better quality psu eg corsair, OCZ or coolermaster,
    im inclined to buy them separate as your likely to get a better psu
