Okay

as with us all I have had various ups and downs in my life. I would however like to turn this into a positive and am very interested into doing a course in life coaching (which I would then like to do part time to supplement my income). I have not yet enrolled on a course but there is one I can do for 650. I have not yet filed for BR but my questions are as follows:

1) Would I be able to list the course fees in my SOA before I have enrolled (future planning)
2) would course fees be accepted on SOA
3) Would I be able to do the life coaching part time for extra money while I am BR (I do understand that most of the money would go into an IPA but I could still be building up a client base/reputation)

I think thats it, sorry all my posts are so long. any advice would be gratefully recieved.

not sure, but wouldn't that be classed as obtaining credit with no means to repay, hence getting you a BRO?

I think the OP was talking about putting the course fees on as an ongoing expense, not putting them into the bankruptcy.

Sorry, thought the OP meant that they were going to sign up for a course and then put the full fees in the BR.

    Apologies if I misunderstood.

Not sure if course fees would be allowed on your SOA, OR might argue that it does not meet a "reasonable domestic need"

Suggest an email to the IS helpline to see what they say.

Thanks for your replies. I did mean putting it into my soa. There is no rush to do the course so I may just wait and ask the OR if it is allowed. As it is a distance learning course I can start any time. Although I wonder if the university will let me pay monthly if I am BR LOL.

    Thanks again for your responses.
