I think a sub board is needed for scottish bankruptsHi, im Debtinfo, i am an ex insolvency examiner and over the years have personally dealt with thousands of bankruptcy cases.
Please note that any views i put forth are not those of my former employer The Insolvency Service and do not constitute professional advice, you should always seek professional advice before entering insolvency proceedings.0 -
I've got a post on going for a Scottish B/R sub board Debtinfo - so doesn't any of that apply in Scotland?
I've worked out I earn 28% of that of my DH.Don't try to keep up with the Joneses - Drag them down to your level - it's cheaper .0 -

Most definitely - must be really frustrating to get advice then find practically none of it applies to your circumstances. :mad:Get free advice before embarking on bankruptcy: CCCS 0800 138 1111 National Debtline 0808 808 4000

I think the problem for me is that I don't know anything about how the Scottish system works. I can say what I did for my bankruptcy here and how it worked out for me, but I wouldn't be comfortable suggesting that any of that applies to Scotland.Get free advice before embarking on bankruptcy: CCCS 0800 138 1111 National Debtline 0808 808 4000

We have a debt councillor coming to see us during the week, so he should know.
I just know he isn't going to be in favour of DH going B/R - he was dead set against it, but we're strugglin here, and the prospect of having to do this for another 11 - 12 years is too much to handle. Specially as even going B/R would be over and dealt with in 6yrs.Don't try to keep up with the Joneses - Drag them down to your level - it's cheaper .0
