My brother in law is absolutely terrible with money. He runs out about two weeks into the month.
He'd like me to take over all his incomings and outgoings and give him an allowance to live on. I'm quite happy to do this to help him out.
He is worried however that the next time he is a bit tipsy he'll get another store card, or apply for another loan or whatever (this sounds crazy but he does actually do this. He once bought a car whilst drunk!)
Is there a way that he can have a CCJ or a block of some king voluntarily put on his credit record in order to stop him getting any more credit.
I know that, in reality, he should simply just show some self-restraint but I'm just looking at alternatives.

Perhaps instead of trying to find a way of blocking his credit your brother in law could try drinking less? That would also save him money!:j"I believe that everything happens for a reason.
