I feel sorry for the staff. A couple of years ago I worked for a Tyrant (or tight !!!!!!) who forced me go to work at his clothes shops on Easter Sunday.skiddy2k wrote:Just found out that Halfords is open today, yes, Easter Sunday, from 10-5!
No other shops nearby were open so I called him midway through the shift and asked if we can go home as we had taken just £5 in sales.
He said no as he was paying us to be there (minimum wage - wow!)
By the end of day we had taken £12 and I had missed out on a day with my kids.Third time lucky on WW I hope :j

This is a bit suprising considering everyone else in closed!
Hope this helps,
Skiddy

The new God is shopping.
24 hours a day when you like.
Have you ever been in a 24 hour shop in the middle of the night. From midnight until about 5am you would be lucky to get 10 customers.
I should know as I use to stack shelves in a 24 supermarket.
Shops shutting once or a twice a year is hardly a hardship.
You wait to christmas the samething will happen all over again. Buying more food than you can shake a stick at. With half of it is never eaten and thrown a way.
