Boots Protect & Perfect eye cream differences

Sorry if this is a naive question, but what is the difference between the standard eye cream and the men's version? (apart from packaging and cost!)

Humph! Are we getting ripped off?

Women's skin is supposed to be finer than men's. Is that a reason? Doesn't really convince me.

Why not email them and ask?

I for one, as a P&P user (though not the eye cream atm) would be interested in what b*ll , sorry scientific explanation, they manage to come up with.

You've reminded me to update my Protect and Perfect Serum thread on here too. Thanks

Although I'm probably not going to be popular with Boots - there is a moneysaving tip available in the reply I received from Boots:

"I have spoken to our No7 Team and they have advised that the formulation of the actual product is exactly the same for both. The reason for the difference in price is due to packaging costs and overheads."

Overheads presumably being the extensive advertising costs for the "female version" !!
    Great result! Well done OP!!
