Any ideas as to where I can get one the same but cheaper.

Or if anyone has one and you think its worth the money and will last forever then let me know and I wont feel so bad about buying it :D

Sorry to be so negative, but could you please indicate what you want in text rather than simply putting a link?
I for one wouldn't click on a link unless I'm pretty certain it's kosher :)

    Food Preparation Board

Food preparation system has a clamp to fix items such as bowls and tins while the stainless steel spikes help to secure vegetables and fruit in place while slicing. With four non-slip rubber feet to prevent the board from moving, it is ideal for those who have difficulty gripping or only have use in one hand
Just run, run and keep on running!

aaaaahhhh Mr Speed, you dont know me well enough. I'm not clever enough to do something thats not kosher.

See, in my mind it would only be suspicious if it was a 'word' hiding a website address.

    Am I wrong?

I didn't say what I wanted as its hard to describe.

Its a special chopping board with clamps and spikes and thingies that makes it nice and easy for someone who only has the use of one hand to prepare food with ease and comfort. See, I bet your none the wiser.

ooooo, I know what about a pic? I could do that. I'll come back in a bit and do that - I'm clever enough for that.

    :D

Have a look at these sites:

    http://www.benefitsnowshop.co.uk/shop/section/657.htm

    http://www.betterlifehealthcare.com/products.php?catID=7&subID=198

Also your local social services should have a physically disabled section who may be able to provide you with aids free of charge.

I have had a quick search and there are several suppliers for this type of thing.

    Morecare-Swifttech
    36 The Nursery
    Bath Road
    Devizes
    Wiltshire
    SN10 2AJ
    Tel: (01380) 727555

http://www.homecraft-rolyan.com/ have several but I think you have to contact them for prices!

Maybe worth contacting your local Social Services as when I worked for them we had equipment such as this that you could borrow to see if it was any good but you brought your own.

Or try contacting the Disabled Living Foundation for advice.

if the item is needed because of a disability you are not liable to pay VAT on it.
    (just sign the declaration.)
