Join a cashback site such as Quidco or Topcashback and do all the free offers and switch insurances or utility supplier via the site. Survey sites that are regular payers include Valued Opinions, IPSOS and GlobalTestMarket. You can often join these via a cashback site or via a referral link on the Referrals board - you earn money for someone else and then add your name to the bottom of the list. Be warned cashback sites and surveys are slow burners, it took me several months to get my first payout but if you stick with it the money comes in steadily. :T

Last option is the best payer - matched betting if you have a head for figures? It's NOT gambling, it's a complicated system for getting guaranteed free money from Bookies if you put in the time. There is a whole board dedicated to 'Gambling Loopholes'. Hope that helps!

If you cut out the satellite tv (saving £45), cut the mobile back to free mins/texts only (saving £15), watch the grocery shopping - even with wipes etc it shouldn't cost this much (saving £100), cut haircuts back to every other month (saving £15) and get clothing from charity shops for a few months (saving £50)........that's a total saving of £225 a month.

By the time OH comes home you'll be in a much better position to show him how it works :)

Well done Now close the account. And ensure that here are not PPi or other insurances that get charged to it which then lead you to have an unknown debt somewhere else.

Your barclay card is perilously close to its limit, so pay a bit extra off that next month. Then start paying down the Lloyds are as that is more expensive.

misunderstood - do clear that first, as the APR is horrid. have you paid PPI on this card?

And on any of the loans?
