Have you thought about a motor bike I mean?
My daughter (19) has a Yamaha Drag Star 125 and gets around on that It's cheap to tax (£15 per year) mind you I insure it for her atm...Go hopefully into each new day, enjoy something from every day no matter how small, you never know when it will be your last0 -
I think the key word in your posts is 'want'. You don't need a car, you just want one. A lot of people (including me) are in debt because of just that reason.Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0

I would rather walk around then get a motor bike
I know you lot are all giving me the best advice.. but no one is actually helping me
As I have made my mind up
But just want some advice on what loan to get0 -
Why would you rather walk than get a bike?
My sister's got one and she loves it, running costs are tiny too, she brought it back from scarborough for half of what it costs me to drive.Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0 -
Have you spoken to your parents about this? Maybe they'd be willing to insure you on their car, or loan you a small amount to get a cheap car?
You say it will take you a year to save up for what you want. Why are you looking to get a loan spread over 5 years then?
I do understand how much you want a car, where I live the public transport is really poor too, and so it sucks not having a car. But you don't need to spend £4000 on a car, you just want something to get you from a to b.Debt at LBM (17/10/08) £5727.61 Debt free date 31/08/090 -
I was looking at the Natwest Platinum Credit Card
It says
Carry on reading the terms, it also says :-

These services are for the attention of UK residents only and are only available in the UK. Please view Summary Box for important information on interest and charges.0 -

In that case, whichever one you want as it sounds like you will be back in a few months time asking for help to get out of debt
Reading some of your earlier posts I can't help wondering why basic financial planning/budgeting isn't taught in schools?
Sometimes it's hard to walk in a single woman's shoes - that's why we need really special ones!Total debt @ Oct 2008: £29,226.42 Credit Card- £[STRIKE]7493.56[/STRIKE] - £7243.56Weightloss : 0/34lbs0 -
