Lunch Time INDIAN Buffet Glasgow City Centre

Options
I know there have been a few threads re meals but have been all around the city. I would like to find a city centre lunch time Indian buffet at reasonable cost preferably no more than £5.00 (it is money saving after all).

Thanks for your help

Oh who used to work in the city centre's first reply to that is it can'tbe done!!

He says if you're willing to stretch to £5.95 that's their normal price of most of the Indians in town.

Someone may be better informed than hisnibs since he has technically not worked in the city centre for 3 years but has been a student there! He's not the most mse out there but I don't give him much spends so....

Used to be one outside Central Station on Hope Street, inbetween Argyle Street and Bothwell Street that was cheap (about £6 I think), but haven't been there for a while.

Under £5 will be very difficult, going to Sandwich shops can be just under £5!

Is it possibly Bombay Blues you are thinking of on Hope Street? Went once years ago, and it was ok. Can't remember if it was a buffet or not though, and no idea if it's still open as I don't work in that area any more.

India Quay is lovely, but will be dearer than £5 and not central to the city.

The Village in Tradeston (just over the water) is very cheap, and the food is reasonable for the money.

It has had a makeover recently and the prices went up. Possibly about £8 now, but the garlic nans are very good!!

Spend the extra £1 for the Kama Sutra - the Rawalpindi is living off it's reputation from years ago.
