Blackpool Accommodation Codes

Ok, firstly, if this thread starts to slip down the page, please can someone BUMP it back up for me please as it's very important for me to sort this out for my girlfriend as its our anniversary and I want to suprise her by taking her to the same place we met  :kisses3: :happyhear Thanks all!

Right, I'm aiming to get to Blackpool either on the 30th April or preferrably the 1st May and stay their untill 8th May.

Now i'm on a pretty tight budget unfortunately so cant stretch too far :-(

So if ANYONE either knows of any coupons/vouchers that I can get hold of somehow or offers that hotels are running for that week or something like that or you know of a really cheap, but liveable hotel then pleeeeease let me know and I will be eternally greatful.

Any help would be greatly appreciated so if you think you might have something then let me know so I can check it out.

Thank you all very much in advance for your kind help and I trust someone out there will be able to help me out in my time of need :A .

Many thanks all! :T :T

Steve :easter:

Have you considered looking on Ebay?

There always seem to be good deals for week long stays at a couple of hotels in blackpool. I looked a while ago and one also offered some beauty treatments as complimentary treats. I'm sure that'd go down well with your girlfriend?

There is also a hotel just outside Blackpool - I think it was in Ltham St Annes - its called the Fernlea. They advertise on ebay at the moment and apart from the dodgy blue and yellow four poster bedroom the hotel looks good for the money :D

I dont know what the hotels are like but I'm sure you'd be able to find some reviews on the web somewhere.

Good luck and have a nice anniversary break.

ps - you couldn't persuade my husband to organise a nice surprise like this for me could you? :D
Sometimes it's important to work for that pot of gold...But other times it's essential to take time off and to make sure that your most important decision in the day simply consists of choosing which color to slide down on the rainbow...

You could ask around see if anyone has a caravan you can 'borrow' for a week (or pay minimum for). Usually a friend of a friend will be willing to do this. Good luck :)

Heres a list of hotels and some have their own website, so worth a ring around a few. Let them know you have a list of others to call and see if anyone can beat another's price.

Only snag I can see is that you want the start of your trip to coincide with a bank holiday weekend, so you may have to pay a tad more, however, you could knock them down a bit saying you want to book for a week.

Best of luck ... i wish I was married to you :rotfl:

  • Hi it is my first time on here and i hope i can help.I live and work in blackpool and suggest you look at the BHGHA website which will hopefully do the trick.Furthermore for you and any other visitors to my home town who require a taxi during your visit, email me for number and i will give you 10% off each taxi ride you have whilst you are here,it is perfectly legal BTW.
