IPA for nil tax code

Thanks Fermi for further claification on this. So next July i will be auto discharged with no IPA for tax, no IPA for excess surplus. Unless my circumstances change that is.0

Thanks for clearing that up Fermi, I did have the wrong end of the stick.
Just to confirm, I'm currently self employed so the OR will want what I would normally keep aside for tax. But I'm considering a change of job where I would expect to be on normal PAYE, then I would just start paying tax like normal and stop the Nil Tax code IPA there and then?0 -

Yep.
The NT IPA would cease at the beginning of the next tax year regardless of anything else.
If you don't have a normal surplus income IPA applied before you are discharged, then that is it for those as well. They can't be applied after discharge.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB
