This is exactly the sort of no-nonsense change the country needs.
Are you sure that you're not a blue tie? :)

Actuallery........it was all the politics that stopped me lurking here so much over the past few months (oh, and the scaaarrrry, multiple personality people) as I really can't be 'bovvered' with all the pontificating and ''they should and I would do'' da de da.

I am a little bit Communist (along with Mewbie during his serious moments), a touch Green, a bit of socialist (without all the troughing) and a scrap of Tory (when no-one else can dig you out of your hole and you just have to do it yourself).

Anyone person can change things in their own micro environment if they choose to. The only difference is you affect 1 or 2 people not a whole population but that's better than doing nothing or thinking 'What difference can just me make?....Therefore I 'll do nothing at all''.

The problem with politicians is it's all about ego. Rather than work directly in their own areas to change small things, they go for the glory.

I wondered where you went. There are a fair number of colour blind (i.e. see everything in black&white) people on here.

    Mewbie, communist...? :D
Eye of the beholder and all that.
I am a liberal green pragmatist. I think!

I agree. Would be nice if there was incentives for people to do the right thing.
Paying people to recycle for example.

The glory, the power and the influence. When people get voted in on the basis of saying only that we need change. One does wonder the mentality of people.

UKIP were the worst for expenses, and yet they gained the most from people turning away from the main parties due to expense scandals. The whole worlds mad at times.

Oops, bit of a political rant from moi.:)

Hey PN, I did my bit of internet dating. Here's my ad. "Large lady with interest in the classics seeks soul mate to share Pot Noodles with".

    Apparently it worked for me.
    Classy! I should use that!
    Thanks.

I'm confused, have we decided whether you are a male or female yet?
Cos I think male, but if you are female, please pm me, because you have a males SOH, which is what most men are looking for. :p

FF, get her to move into yours, you'll always have the upper hand, no brainer, women need to be kept under control ;)

PN. Again with the negativity, the web based dating game must have changed since I did it, I was never over 70 and never sent kn0b pics, but I did get sent some from an obviously confused old gent :D
Why don't you turn gay? Plenty of available women out there according to you (not what I found) and it could be fun.....

Thanks...mate. There's a running joke that FF thinks I am female, which has been occasionally funny / useful when troll hunting. I don't feel particularly theatened by it, as I am only here for a wind up and a bit of relax.

My 'ad' reference was harking back to the thread where we jointly stuffed a bull / troll and had much fun.

Only at the weekend then, huh?

FF either lives in his own private world where everyone is female and attracted to him, or is someone who reads too many 70's playboys, quite funny in his own way,

The government doesn't do carrots for things like recycling, only for things like getting pregnant and lying about where you live, they do the stick principle for recycling and as it's partly my money they use, I'm happy it's that way.
