capital one harrassment!

when i first took out my capitail one card i was living with my mum and so the phone number used was for the house there, i now live elsewhere and capital one have my new address and contact number ( and i do recieve all the bills to the correct address).

Ive had a bit of a hard time recently and due to having to pay my priority debts firsti have missed my minimum capital one payment, they have since been ringing my mums house literally every 30mins chasing the payment! she has told them i dont live there AND re-given them my new number yet they are still relentlessy (sp?) calling her and i think this is boredering on harrasment?

any one else experianced this from capital one? whats the best way to deal with it?
thanks ;)

have you thought about writing to them with a formal complaint and explaining the financial situation and maybe writing a post dated cheque or actually phoning them yourself?!?! also your mum could phone her phone line provider explaining the situation and if the company log the amount of calls as harrassment they can then block further calls from capital one...hope this helps.

crap one are relentess, despite harrassment letters and complaints they still call me daily somtimes twice and have done now since april. get your mum to send the harrassment letter slightly tweaked to this situation, and if the calls continue get your mum to carry thru the threats of action.
