Wow, the worst and most consistent reviews I've seen on Amazon. What an awful item that must be. Looks like a total waste of money in my opinion.

It is worth pointing out that this recorder is currently on sale in Ebuyer at £70+p&p and has 17 reviews with a rating of 4.5 out of 5 stars and has some excellent write-ups.

It may not be that bad after all.

They used to sell these at my local co-op. They reduced the price to less than £50 about 2 mts ago and I enquired on mse to see if it was any good.
Replies were unamious in condeming then and quoted co-op staff as saying that they were getting loads of returns.
