should I do that before I eat or after ?0 -
Eat slowly. Smaller pieces of food are easier for your digestive system to handle.
Be physically active. Regular physical activity is important for digestion because it helps speed the movement of waste through your digestive tract. Exercising before you eat (ideally 90 minute walk) will reduce your problems.
Maintain a healthy weight. Excess weight contributes to gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) including heartburn and inflammation of the esophagus.
Relax. Your body doesn't digest food well when you're stressed.
Don't smoke. Smokers are more likely to have indigestion, stomach ulcers and cancer of the esophagus. My weight loss following Doktor Dahlqvist' Dietary Program

Peppermint tea is very good for indigestion, if you have wind what's very good is fennel tea, you can make this by crushing a teaspoon of fennel seeds and infuse in hot water for 10 minutes. Make sure to keep a lid on the cup so all the essential oils do not escape with the vapour.
Hope you feel better!

Tonic water is quite good for indigestion.
Work out what foods trigger it for you - onions, chocolate, wine...................0 -
I think it was just a case of over indulgence0
