I got halfway through signing up but then it asked me for card details and knowing me, I'll forget to cancel after the free trial month so I closed the page down.

Good find, but you have to fill in your credit card details which I do not like.

i worried about the same thing, however, having just gotten my renewed debit card i 'accidentally' put the old cards details in, oh how absentminded of me

i may not receive them now but at least they can't charge me if i do and of course once they realise they aren't getting any money off me they'd stop sending things so i don't feel bad about it, to be honest i don't expect to receive it but you never know! :p

because like most subscription type things they are hoping you'll forget to cancel for at least a month or two and they can eek a little cash out of you even if you only signed up for the freebie

the trick with these is to cancel as soon as you get the freebie! if you can't remember to do that though they aren't the best option
  • Got mine through on Saturday, choccie eaten before the postie had barely left - :rotfl:

then when i realise i just cancel it
it might not be much, but its better than a kick in the teeth:rotfl:

Sounds like a lot of messing about to me and my bank would pay them anyway and charge me for going into my overdraft without authorisation so it wouldn't work for me anyway.
  • I wa going to have the free trial until i saw you have to put your CC details in. Theres probabley a load of hassle to cancel and I'm not paying for it monthly.

  • Just to let you all know I cancelled yesterday through the contact us bit on their side. Said great service but bit too expensive for me, please cancel.

Got email this morning confiming cancellation - really nice - not rude and asking if I have time to complete a survey on the service.

It only took me about 2 mins to cancel - very easy.
