Mine is plastic too, but pretty solid and great for saving and watching your pennies grow.

For everyone interested in pigsback - this is the link to the thread about it:

    http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=180630&page=1&pp=10

Currently its 68 pages long (if you're on 10 posts a page) but don't be put off - just read the first two posts to get the hang of it!

Then, every day, just look at the last few pages to find the links to that day's quiz questions. The posters provide the answer to the question so all you need do is click the link and enter the correct answer, easy! These are generally prize draw questions (for points) or sometimes earn points immediately.

There are lots of other things to earn points but you're best off reading the first two posts of the thread.

I've been following the thread each day for about 3 weeks and have earned about £15 already :j

    Enjoy :D

Edit to say: Any existing members of pigsback can get some bonus points for referring others - i believe there is a thread on the referrers board but I can't find it, sorry. The referral doesn't really benefit the person signing up, just the referree. Please don't think I'm trying to get candidates for referral for myself, just thought i'd mention it in case you know of anyone you could ask to refer you. Please don't PM me for a referral as a result of this thread! :o

I must say I signed up with pigsback ages and ages ago and got about 600 points but wasn't very enamoured with the rewards at that time and left it really. But the MSE board pushed me in to perservering and I just cashed in my points for a £10 arcadia voucher (dp's, evans etc) I'm well chuffed!!!

If I keep on plugging away pigsback can more or less fund any new clothes I might need as the year goes on, and its entirely free! :T hurrah!

Today there are 100 free points on pigsback if you find the easter egg. The eggs location is written about on the 12:04am post on the freebies site pigsback gifts for clicks. If anyone is interested look there and it has the link.

  • These free pigs sound great - I'd love one. Free vouchers too. But I don't understand how it works. Why is this site giving away pigs or other gifts? I've looked at the site and almost signed up but you have to fill in personal details. Does this mean you get loads of junk mail and spam?

No - it's a click through site which means Advertisers place their adverts on the site so people can have a look and hopefully be tempted into buying their products. They will pay Pigsback.com for their advertising space.

If you choose to sign up to any of the advertisiers mail lists then they will mail you of course. But just signing up to pigsback.com you will not get spam. If you look at the bottom of the site they have a no spam policy/guarantee.

We mainly collect points through clicking on adverts and answering questions on competitions etc. The rewards are varied and pigsback will give out pens, cups, money boxes etc because they are promotional items.

You can continue to collect more points for vouchers from their "partners" which really is a 'reward'. I am saving for a John Lewis voucher - but am tempted by the piggy bank!

It's well worth signing up to pigsback, I signed up about 2.5 weeks ago and have about £14 there now (without buying anything), which I plan to trade in for a clothes voucher (Arcadia Group). I got my OH to do the same and he has approx the same amount there too. Thats great - almost £30 of free 'money'!! It's really easy to do too, I thought it would be complicated but it is not. The thread on the freebies board is very good to start you off! Do it now, the earlier you start the more points you can collect!
