thank you so much to all who contributed to my thread a few weeks ago, a few of you were interested to know if my sons skin got better when i stopped using the shake n vac, not only have i now saved a small fortune in not buying the stuff but also my little 1s skin is looking alot better than it has done for ages. i have now also stopped buying all those different cleaning products and use just microfibre clothes and 1 multi purpose cleaner (will be trying the stardrops as soon as i can find some)
so thank you all my shopping bill has gone down by quite a bit each week and my familys health must be better for it :j

aww thats brilliant news!!!
Glad the story about my poor old doggie (with the allergy to shake n vac) helped!
To know your little ones skin is getting better has made my (up until now rather horrible) day!0 -
Brilliant news. I bet that stuff causes havoc in lots of peoples houses without them realizing that the Shake n Vac is the culprit. It should carry a health warning.DTD - Doing Tesco Daily - while I still have vouchers!0

Hi
Thats great, i remember reading your post and agreeing, i used to use it all the time especially when dd was tiny ad she used to have accidents on the carpet and when i had cleaned it used shake n vac to get rid of the smell.
I haven't used it for years my daughter does not have eczema anymore it basically went away as soon as i got rid of the shake and vac, i also use microfibre cloths, maybe the medical people should be told about this??
Glad its working for you too

I didn't realise they still made shake n'vac. Glad your DS skin is better.
My DD suffered Excema till she was 5. From the first few days I abandoned all baby products using just water to clean her which improved her skin no end. Suncream was a problem as it badly affected her skin but the alternative was no protection and burn. Luckily she has grown out of it and only gets small flare ups when she is poorly.~Laugh and the world laughs with you, weep and you weep alone.~:)
